Big River Grille (Disney Boardwalk) will be tapping its Oktoberfest on Saturday September 17th from 6-9pm. $3 Oktoberfest beers, $2 bratwurst sandwiches, and $2 pretzels while supplies last. Big River Oktoberfest is a medium bodied lager, amber in color with a toasted malt character and a slight sweetness.
Just a note.... The last few times we've gone they don't allow you to park in the main Boardwalk Hotel lot any longer. The guard typically directs you to an overflow lot a little further down. Its a little bit more of a walk but no big deal.

Nice to see a some Florida versions of the legendary German lager. Florida Beer Company has created a traditional Oktoberfest style Marzen with a Florida twist and dubbed it Conchtoberfest. It comes in a blue bottle too! http://blog.floridabeer.com/2011/08/31/new-fbc-seasonal-release-conchtoberfest/ Total Wine might have the biggest display of Autumn Seasonals in Orlando beer store history... More Oktoberfests and Pumpkin Ales than you could shake a stick at! Sure its still a little hot outside but definitely a great way to start the Labor Day weekend. We decided to go with the Brooklyn Brewery Oktoberfest and got a 750 of the Sierra Nevada/Dogfishead collaboration Life and Limb taboot! On a non fall seasonal note, we've been wanting to try the Orange Blossom Pilsner Squared (OBP2) as well. Planning on getting that next time.
